Although Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time is quite an old title now (it was released way back in 2003), it’s perhaps worth taking a look at in advance of the big-screen film of the same name appearing in 2010.
This third-person action adventure game takes the original Prince Of Persia and updates it for a new generation, with 3D level design and an intriguing storyline. I should probably point out that some of the puzzles are bloody hard as well!
The Game Collection are selling the PlayStation 2 version for £3.95 – for more information on this cheap games‘ availability, click here. Meanwhile, GameBoy Advance owners can click here to get their release for £7.99 from SoftUK.

The Monster House game is based on the 2006 kids film of the same name, so you can pretty much guarantee that if your little darlings liked it that they will like this game as well.
Strangely the gameplay in this is a little bit like Resident Evil 4 and is much better than you would expect a kids game to be, albeit toned down so as not to scare them half to death!
Click here to buy the DS version for £10.89 from Forget The Rest, click here for the GameBoy Advance release, or click here to get the GameCube version – the latter two are both £10.99 each at SoftUK.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, on the GBA, is a slightly different from other versions of the game – this returns to the classic style, as opposed to the three dimensional look on other platforms.
Amidst the scorched sands of ancient Persia, there is a legend spun in an ancient tongue. It speaks of a time borne by blood and ruled by deceit.
It is within this war torn land that a young Prince discovers a magic dagger. Drawn to its dark powers, he is led to unleash a deadly evil upon the reaches of his father’s vast kingdom.
Aided by the wiles of a seductive princess and the absolute powers of the Sands of Time, the Prince stages a harrowing quest to reclaim the Palace’s cursed chambers, and restore peace to the very fabric of Time itself. He must tread these dangers carefully, however.
Because in this world, there is only one rule: master the Sands, or be buried.
Head over to SoftUK and get this title for £7.99.

Happy Feet, on the GameBoy Advance, is an immersive adventure game filled with song and dance that puts the player in the "tap shoes" of Mumble, a young penguin born into a nation of singing Emperor Penguins. Unfortunately, Mumble can’t sing a note…but he can tap dance something fierce! Mumble’s inability to find his "Heart-Song" means that he can never truly belong, or more importantly, win the affection of his beloved Gloria, one of the most sought-after penguins in the nation. Following the general storyline of the film, the player will be able to experience life from the point of view of Mumble – in exploration, music, dance and interaction with the friends and enemies of the penguin’s world. You will become Mumble from fluffy toddler to confident adult as you belly-slide, kick, break, swim and dash through the enormity of Antarctica. The playful and lively music soundtrack complements the exciting rhythm matching game play and two-player dance-off competitions. Mumble will leave the colony an outcast, but return a hero, using his unique toe-tapping talent to save the Emperor Nation!
This title is currently priced at £9.99 over at SoftUK.
