This game is so incredibly cheap that it’s almost like they’re giving it away. There’s nothing wrong with Telly Addicts either, except for the sinister presence of a virtual Noel Edmonds – more terrifying than the real thing!
This is based on the old BBC show of the same name, and is quite simple. All that you do is answer questions about TV programmes and win money. Of course, the money isn’t real – it’s the taking part that makes it fun. Possibly.
Click here to get this PS2 game for the frankly crackers price of only £1.99 from The Game Collection.
Big hair bands were all the rage in the 80s, so if you were (or still are) a fan then Guitar Hero: Rocks The 80s could be just the game for you. Leather pants not included.
To make the most out of this title, I’d strongly advise getting the guitar accessory as it adds a whole new dimension to the game. Indeed, if you don’t already have one you can currently pick up Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock (with a wireless guitar) for £44.71 from Tesco.
Instore at HMV you can currently buy this PlayStation 2 title for £13.99.
How much do I love Guitar Hero, let me count the ways… I’m not going to do that, as I’d be here all day (and I’d bore you half to death in the process) – what I will say that it’s one of the best series of games in quite some time.
The basic premise behind the game is to strum along in time to the music, just as you would with a real guitar – except that this one doesn’t have strings, but buttons instead.
Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock is the latest in the series (well technically Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is, but hey ho!) and is available for £44.71 instore at Tesco. The good news is that it comes with a wireless guitar, the better news is that this price is valid for all console releases (PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and Wii).
UPDATE: The PlayStation 2 version is also available for the same price.

You might think that by criticising such movie tie-in games as Iron Man and Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, I automatically dismiss all of them as being rubbish – not true, as the Godfather and Scarface titles are pretty good.
However, Ratatouille is another very average entry in the history of the genre. The one thing it does have going for it though is that kids will love it. Hooray!
SoftUK are selling this PS2 title for £7.49 – for more information, click here.
Have you seen either of the High School Musical films and thought "I really want to sing those songs in my house and look like a bit of a plonker"? If you have, then High School Musical: Sing It! is just the game for you.
With all your favourite cast members present and correct, and a wide range of songs from the first two films to sing along to, this is the closest you will get to actually being a part of the High School Musical experience. Lucky you.
Instore at Tesco you can currently bag either the PlayStation 2 or Wii version (both including the microphones) for £22.71 each.
The big summer film is probably going to be Wall-E (actually, it might be The Dark Knight – but kids will be more interested in Wall-E). I’m always wary when a game based on a movie appears, so here’s hoping this is at least bearable.
All the characters from the film are present and correct, as is the voice talent. As well as reliving key moments from the movie, in the game you’ll also enjoy new storylines and explore massive environments that you won’t see in the cinema.
To get the DS version click here, for the PS2 release click here, and for the PSP version click here – all are £17.83 each at Asda.
Do you like dirtbikes? Do you like monster trucks? If the answer to either (or both) of these questions is yes, then you’ll probably enjoy MX Vs ATV: Untamed – these are what you race on it.
There’s many competitions to compete in and a bunch of mini-games thrown in as well, however the big selling point is that the PlayStation 3 version has an online multiplayer mode which can cater for up to 12 players at a time!
Click here to buy the PlayStation 2 version for £16.93 from Asda, or click here to get the PS3 release for £19.99 from ShopTo.
There’s not many crazy golf games around, which is a little odd when you consider the amount of straight golf titles available on various consoles. King Of Clubs fills this void in quite a good way.
With 10 courses, which each have their own resident pro, this should be a good laugh if you get some friends round to take part in the multiplayer mode.
To get the PSP version for £10.98 delivered from Gamestation, click here – for the PlayStation 2 release (which is slightly more expensive at £12 from Simply Games), click here.
If you’re a Wii owner, you might be interested to know that King Of Clubs is £17.99 for it.
The Need For Speed series is notorious for being incredibly average. Need For Speed: Prostreet is much better than most of the other titles in the series, but it’s still far from being the perfect racing game.
Compete around the world to prove that you have what it takes to be the king of the road, but sadly there’s no ability to compete online. Boo!
Click here to buy the PlayStation 2 version for £4.96 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £6.95 delivered) from Amazon, click here to get the PSP release for £20.99 delivered from Gamestation, click here to bag the Wii version for £19.99 from CD-WOW, or click here to buy the XBox 360 release for £14.97 from Amazon.
Phew!
Poker can be an expensive game if you don’t watch what you’re doing. Listen to me being the moral guardian – I actually don’t care if people spend money on poker, you only live once (or maybe twice, who knows)!
World Series Of Poker 2008: Battle For The Bracelets does exactly what it says on the tin and provides a fairly realistic game of poker. Climb your way up the ranks in your quest to win the championship bracelet.
