Some of the games based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ adventures have actually been rather good.
Sadly, TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles isn’t one of them – I blame the fact that it’s based on a film for it’s crapiness.

SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs captures the reality of contemporary warfare and builds upon the success of the multi-million unit selling SOCOM franchise. It boasts 3 Areas of Operation: Southern Asia, Northern Africa and Eastern Europe and is packed with over ten missions.
Driving the solo player experience, the newest streaming environment technology has allowed the team at Zipper Interactive to enlarge each mission area, making them up to 6 times bigger than in SOCOM 2 whilst allowing smooth advancement during mission gameplay. Multiple save points eradicate the need to replay a failed mission from the start.
And, for the first time, SOCOM 3 sees land and water vehicles play a key role. Vehicles can be commandeered by both players and AI and cover a variety of military and civilian vehicles including turret-equipped pickups and SEAL team military Humvee and SOC-R Assault Boats.
A groundbreaking new weapon customisation system allows players to utilise more than thirty different weapons and attachments which, when combined, provide almost a thousand potential customised combat executions. Greater maps, multiple routes to mission resolution and new team command actions ensure a richer, realistic more intense strategic warfare experience.

Ice hockey games are great, especially when a fight breaks out – nothing better than smacking someone round the head with a big glove.
I’m not the world’s biggest fan of the sport, but I can see the appeal in battering around a small puck with wooden sticks, even if most of this country can’t.

I wonder if there will ever be a really decent game based on a film (I’m discounting The Godfather as it came out ages after the film did!)?
Jumper is another mediocre attempt at bridging the divide between the two mediums – to put it mildly, it stinks.
