The very first game in the Guitar Hero series has a good selection of songs to play along to – from David Bowie through to Ozzy Osbourne, and eveything in between.
I’d recommend picking this up while it’s in stock, as not many places have copies left.

The Golden Compass wasn’t that well received as a film, and the less said about the game the better.
Sometimes movie tie-in titles are average, but this isn’t even that good!
Click here (if you dare!) to buy the PlayStation 2 version for £4.99 from Play.com.

Swords Of Destiny has been dropping in price for quite some time now – there’s nothing wrong with it, just it’s a bit old!
The story is the age-old tale of a man fighting to vanquish evil in order to save the world (nothing new there then).
DVD.co.uk have reduced this PS2 game to just £4.99 – for more details, click here.

Ape Escape 3 continues to elaborate upon the core theme of the Ape Escape series: capturing monkeys. Although staying faithful to the originality of this hit franchise, Ape Escape 3 brings additional advances to the Ape Escape series.
Packed with more content than any former Ape Escape title, Ape Escape 3 has a full twenty-eight stages (136 total areas, compared with eighty-four for the previous installment) and lots of mini games.
Boasting over 430 monkeys to capture, Ape Escape 3 calls upon the skills of seasoned monkey-catchers Satoru and Sayaka who both feature as playable characters. Additionally, our heroes now have a wardrobe of super-powered costumes to select from, each with new powers and abilities. Choose from 7 varied attires, depending upon the situation – use Sayaka’s Cowgirl outfit to administer hot leaden justice from your twin six-shooters, or give the monkeys a gothic kicking with Satoru’s knight armour, finished with shield and lance.

Guitar Hero II contains an impressive selection of tunes to play along with.
Unfortunately this doesn’t come with the guitar, but I would strongly recommend that you buy one – it makes the game a million times better.

Serph, leader of the Embryon, rambles aimlessly through the lifeless streets ahead of him. In the Junkyard, his Tribe fought a ghastly war, trusting the light of Heaven would alleviate their suffering. Ultimately, Serph’s world disappeared, along with the comrades who stood by him. All that expected him in Nirvana were uninterrupted streets littered with the mute remains of human statues. The Promised Land was nothing but a new hell…

One of the most disappointing films this year has to have been Jumper – a good-ish idea in principle, but very badly excuted.
The game is sadly more of the same, with very little effort or thought having been put into it.
