Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe features fighters from both the Mortal Kombat franchise and DC Universe, in a fight to see who the superior faction is. Hopefully you’ll now be able to finally answer such questions as who would win in a battle to the death between Batman and Scorpion, or how well Superman and Jax match up.
The Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe: Collector’s Edition is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and comes with some extra goodies. A bonus DVD looks at the making of the game and a 16-page comic book titled "Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe: Beginnings" shows how the fight came about.

NBA Live 09 is the 2008 installment in the NBA Live series. As with pretty much every release, this comes with a whole host of new features which help improve the game a great deal – here’s hoping that they never run out of ideas!
Key amongst these new introductions are the 5-on-5 online mode, the ability to replay key games from the past, and a feature called NBA Live 365 which will keep rosters and form as up-to-date as is humanly possible.

Grand Theft Auto IV has been an incredible success since it’s release, but this should come as little surprise – the other entries in the series have been excellent in their own rights as well. New downloadable content (on the 360 release only at the moment) means this is now even better…
The Grand Theft Auto IV: Special Edition contains a copy of the game (in a safety deposit box!), an art book, a selected soundtrack CD and a Rockstar keychain all in a limited edition Rockstar Duffel Bag.

For some people the idea of riding a dragon (steady!) sounds fascinating. If you’re one of these people then Lair might very well interest you, as the main character spends most of his time doing just that.
Rohn is a warrior who rides a dragon that has been trained for deadly aerial and ground combat, and they must work together to try and change the destiny of a world on the brink of extinction…

For anyone who’s been living under a rock, Grand Theft Auto IV is the latest and greatest title in the long-running Grand Theft Auto series. Controversy surrounds every release, but this had even more because of the similarities between the city in the game and the real-life New York City – excessive violence and prostitution probably didn’t help either.
There’s more to do than ever before, with lots of little side-games (like bowling, or seeing Ricky Gervais perform stand-up) and missions. However, where this beats every other title in the series is with the online multiplayer mode – nothing better than hacking up a friend with a chainsaw, if you ask me.
Amazon are selling both the PlayStation 3 (click here) and XBox 360 (click here) versions for £19.49 each.
The Play.com Spring video game sale has literally just started, and has many top cheap games available at great prices across most of the major formats.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the first band-themed Guitar Hero game to appear on the market, with the next one scheduled for release later this year – and it will be Guitar Hero: Metallica. That should be excellent, just so long as they include some older stuff and quietly skip past St Anger.
The soundtrack in the game consists of a total of 41 songs, with 29 coming from the group and the remaining 12 from bands that they have played with in that past or that have inspired them. Just don’t expect "I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing", OK?!?
Click here to buy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (with a custom wireless guitar), on the PS3, for £29.99 from ShopTo.

The obvious highlights here are the double pack of Wii Fit and Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, plus any one of the three console offers – the DS Lite in particular looking fantastic.
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. is an aerial warfare game that takes place in the same universe as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (more specifically, between Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 and Tom Clancy’s EndWar).
Cutting-edge technology, devastating firepower, and intense dogfights combine to make this a title deserving entry in the Tom Clancy series. No multiplayer is a bit of a letdown, but there is a very good co-operative mode to go with the single player campaign.
