MediEvil: Resurrection is based on the same story as the very first MediEvil game – except that this PSP version has different level layouts, new characters, and new mini-games.
You play as Sir Daniel Fortesque – a coward who died in battle, but was proclaimed a hero. Zarok (who was the leader of the dark enemy who killed Sir Dan) has returned after one hundred years, and has unknowingly resurrected our player who mus prove once and for all that he really is a hero.

When you have a handheld console, one thing is a given – puzzle games will be plentiful, but many will be crap. Gladly then, Every Extend Extra falls into the "good" category.
This unique "puzzle shooter" (from the team behind Lumines) sees you evading attacks and then using perfect timing to blast foes into a colourful display of explosive chain reactions.

The classic and entertaining Everybody’s Golf finally has a sequel – the imaginatively titled Everybody’s Golf 2. With new characters, beautiful courses, and loads of customisable options this is head and shoulders above the original.
Another great new addition is the ability to play against other golfers across the globe. You might be expecting to be able to compete against a handful, but you can actually take on up to 15 different folk!
Pop in to your local WH Smith and you should be able to pick this up for £9.99 – you may also be able to get it in Blockbuster stores for the same price.
Darts, darts, glorious darts – the fat man’s sport of choice (not that there’s anything wrong with that). It’s almost as though the Wii was designed with games like PDC World Championship Darts 2008 in mind.
Choose from 16 different players to compete in seven of the major PDC tournaments, or just beat your friends in the multiplayer mode.
To get the Wii version for £14.54 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £16.53 delivered) from Amazon, simply click here. Amazon also have the XBox 360 (click here) and PSP (click here) releases available for £17.99 each.

The Sims games are great, because they make you feel as though you are some sort of God who can control people and make them do as you wish. I often wonder what it would be like to do that in real life. Yes, I realise I probably need help.
The Sims 2 is the sequel (you’d never have guessed it) to the massively popular original. This is the first time the series has appeared on the PSP, and it arrives with a huge variety of stuff to do.

If you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan and a PSP owner, then you’ll probably be interested in Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai. Not only can you battle the console, but you can also take on your friends over the wireless network.
With a choice of over 18 different characters to choose from and a total of seven game modes, you’re sure to get a fair amount of replay value out of this as well.

Space Invaders is one of the all-time classic video games – I doubt that there’s anyone in the world over 21 who hasn’t at least tried it once. It’s one of those games that is still quite addictive now, albeit in small doses.
Instead of just giving you the basic experience, Space Invaders Extreme takes it to the next level. Futuristic graphic design and cutting-edge audio, overhauled gameplay details, and some new power-ups make for a great little title.
Asda are selling this PSP game for £12.93 – for more information, click here.

It’s unusual for a game to invent a new genre, but PaRappa The Rapper did just that – creating the music and rhythm stuff that has been used in many games since.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of the original, this PSP title is faithful in every respect. The only real additions are the ability to compete against other players via wireless head-to-head battles, and there’s also some new songs to download.
