After a delay of nine years, Too Human has finally arrived - only to be one of the biggest letdowns this side of Haze. You’d think that after getting cancelled for both the original PlayStation and then GameCube the developers would deliver the goods, but sadly they haven’t.

The first of a planned trilogy, this has decent graphics and quite complex levels. On the flip side, it has a buggy combat system and rubbish boss battles. Here’s hoping they get it right for the next one…

NFL Tour is from the same team that brought you FIFA Street, so you won’t be shocked to learn that it’s a little bit on the crap side. If you’re a fan of the sport you’ll probably get some enjoyment out of it though.

This could be considered a sequel to the NFL Street series, except that the NFL Street titles were actually half-decent. Big disappointment.

With a new story overseen by character creator Mike Mignola and authentic voice-over work from the cast of the film, you would expect Hellboy: The Science Of Evil to be quite good - sadly it’s not.

This third-person game has an excellent combat system, but is badly let down by the sub-standard graphics and repetitive gameplay. At least you can join up with a friend online and play through the story that way, I suppose.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is part prequel, part sequel. This is because events run both at the same time as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas and after that first game has concluded.

Team leader Logan Keller has been replaced by a character known as Bishop, who has more experience and is more deeply involved with the story. He can be customised before starting the campaign, and so can the person you control in the multiplayer mode - which is absolutely brilliant online.

I’ll warn you in advance that Beijing 2008 will very probably leave you with blistered thumbs due to all the button-bashing that’s involved, but it’s a small price to pay for some addictive fun.

All the major events are included, and, for the first time ever, you can take part in an online version of the Olympics against other players all over the world.
