The XBox 360 Elite Console is the best XBox 360 you can get, at least in terms of storage size. This comes with a 120GB hard drive, so I doubt you’d run out of space any time soon.

But if you’re getting a console, it’s always nice to get a game or two with it.

Yes, I realise that the XBox 360 version is just a few posts below this one - any kind of saving has to be good though, right?

When a title has such a decent online multiplayer mode it’s worth about a billion posts, if I’m being honest. Luckily, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 has one of the best around.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is one of those cheap games I can strongly recommend without having to say much - the first one was excellent, this one is even better.

Sadly it looks as though this will be the last outing in Vegas for the Rainbow Six team - here’s hoping they return somewhere else soon!

Most flight simulation games have stupidly difficult controls - gladly, Ace Combat 6: Fires Of Liberation has a very simple control scheme.

With some fantastic looking graphics (ignoring the storyline which is a bit, well, crap!) this is the premier XBox 360 flying title.

Condemned 2 is the sequel to one of the very first XBox 360 games, Condemned: Criminal Origins. This is fairly similar to it, except there’s an all-new online multiplayer mode to take advantage of.

Track down sadisitic serial killers and serve out justice the only way you know how - by getting the scum off the streets.
