Take control of anti-hero Alex Mercer, who wakes up in a mysterious laboratory as an experiment without any memory of his past. The world of Prototype is engrossed in a three-way conflict between the military, a mutated viral epidemic, and Mercer - who’s become a weapon in his own right. The entire game is built around the idea of "weaponising" yourself. Mercer can absorb his foes, acquiring their memories and appearance.

It’s interesting to think what might have happened if the Germans had won the Second World War - Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty takes this thought and makes an entire game out of it!

You take the role of a resistance fighter who must help the fight to oust the foreign invaders.

Play.com have the XBox 360 version available for £24.99 - for more details, click here.

The price of Stuntman: Ignition seems to be going down on a weekly basis - that’s not to say that it’s a bad game, because it’s actually rather good.

You are a stuntman who must perform crazy stunts in order to work your way up to true stardom.

Halo 3 is the latest installment in one of the best gaming franchises for some time.

With an excellent online multiplayer mode, this is probably up there with Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in terms of fun!

Click here to buy this XBox 360 game for around £11.85 delivered from Play-Asia (it’s an import, but it will work on your PAL console - it’s in English as well, so no worries about having to translate!).

The Tiger Woods series seems to get better with every new version, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is no exception.

With the new Shot Confidence feature, an extra element of realism is also added to the game.

Bully: Scholarship Edition From £24.99

Canis Canim Edit was the name originally given to Bully in this country - probably because it sounds less offensive. No matter, as it’s now gone back to it’s correct name with Bully: Scholarship Edition.

If you’ve not played any version before, the game is basically Grand Theft Auto set in a school.

Dark Sector £22.99

It’s a classic tale - you go on a mission to assinate someone and then come back with your arm infected with an alien infection. Hasn’t that happened to everyone at some point?

Anyway, this is the background to Dark Sector which has been developed exclusively for the next-generation consoles.

Click here to buy the PlayStation 3 version, or click here for the XBox 360 release - both of which are £22.99 each at ShopTo.

Grand Theft Auto IV has been an incredible success since it’s release a couple of weeks ago - so much so that most places have very little stock.

The Grand Theft Auto IV: Special Edition contains a copy of the game (in a safety deposit box!), an art book, a selected soundtrack CD and a Rockstar keychain all in a limited edition Rockstar Duffel Bag.

If you’d like to get the XBox 360 version, click here - for the PS3 release, simply click here (both are £59.99 each at HMV).

Sometimes a film comes along that is worth waiting for - sadly, Jumper isn’t one of these movies.

The game is fairly mundane as well, but then most film tie-ins are unfortunately.
