The top selling Pre order game of the year so far, L.A.Noire releases soon on both the XBox 360 platform and the Playstation 3. Another major title from Rockstar Games (producer of the highly acclaimed Red Dead Redemption) should see this game hit the top of the charts on both formats when it is released on 20th May 2011.

L.A.Noire is the eagerly anticipated violent crime thriller set in post Worl War II Los Angeles that has been described as being more like a film than a game, only you play the major role. As you move up the ladder to the head of LAPD you have to play the part of Cole Phelps, and encounter everything from investigating murders to thrilling car chases and of course violent shoot-outs in your quest to return Los Angeles to some sort of stability.
Coming in with an RRP of £44.99, this is clearly expected to generate massive sales for Rockstar games, so don't expect to find too many cheap L.A.Noire prices in your hunt for a pre order bargain. In order to get the price under £30 you're either going to have to wait months until all the fanfare has died down, or be lucky and find a retailer with a generous voucher code to knock the price down. Unfortunately, there currently aren't any, so £35 is about the cheapest you can expect to find L A Noire on both platforms.
