Dead Space has been touted as "Resident Evil in space", but it's much more than that – there's no real zombies, for a start! Comparisons are obvious, however, when it comes to the survival horror aspect of the game.

You play as an engineer who has been sent to discover a problem onboard a ship in deep space and fix it. Once you get there, you discover the whole crew has been killed by some kind of virus – now you must survive, and stop the virus from getting out and destroying mankind…
