For anyone who’s been living under a rock, Grand Theft Auto IV is the lastest and greatest title in the long-running Grand Theft Auto series. Controversy surrounds every release, but this had even more because of the similarities between the city in the game and the real-life New York City - excessive violence and prostitution probably didn’t help either.
There’s more to do than ever before, with lots of little side-games (like bowling, or seeing Ricky Gervais perform stand-up) and missions. However, where this beats every other title in the series is with the online multiplayer mode - nothing better than hacking up a friend with a chainsaw, if you ask me.
If you fancy the XBox 360 version, click here to get it for £22.97 from Amazon. PlayStation 3 owners can get their release for the same price from the same retailer by clicking here.
