Being billed as an interactive drama might bring back some bad memories (step forward The X-Files Game and anything on the 3DO), but Heavy Rain manages to be that rarest of things – a diamond in amongst a genre filled with what can only be called absolute shit.

The story centres around four protagonists who are involved with the mystery of the Origami Killer, a serial killer who uses extended periods of heavy rainfall to drown his victims. Decisions and actions that you make will affect the narrative – main characters can be killed, and different scenes will appear depending on what you choose to do…
