Since it's massively hyped launch some 4 months ago, sales of Microsoft's latest must have accessory, the Kinect (for Xbox) has now reached a figure of 10 million (just announced by Microsoft) and this has been matched by 10 million Kinect Game sales as well. Naturally with such a huge worldwide campaign with seemingly unlimited budget, they needed to recoup this massive spend, and the demand in the run up to Christmas 2010 saw stock shortages and virtually all retailers selling at the full RRP of £129.99 when they had stock.

There has been no such lack of stock since the New Year, when prices have gradually come down as competition hots up amongst stores that are presumably holding a fair amount of stock. A few times, some online stockists have flirted with the £100 price, going under by a penny or two, however, only now have we seen the cheapest price for Xbox Kinect Sensor plus Kinect Adventures from the unlikely source of Stationery and Supplies specialist Viking Direct.

It is not clear whether this price is a short term promotion or a permanet price, but to be sure, and if your still in the market to buy a Kinect, then I would suggest you look seriously at this cheap Kinect offer.

Visit Viking Direct to buy your Kinect with Kinect: Adventures for just £97.99 - click here.
