If there’s one criticism you could have about the Pro Evolution series, it’s that they haven’t yet got the online multiplayer mode quite right. That’s really the only thing that stops PES 2009: Pro Evolution Soccer from being "excellent" rather than "great".

Two new modes are included with this year’s entry, in the form of UEFA Champions League (complete with all the elements and attributes of the competition) and "Become A Legend" - the latter being a brilliant idea, as you control one player throughout his career.
