Even though its the seventh game in the series, Prince Of Persia features no characters from any of the previous installments. Instead it primarily focuses on a new Prince and a secondary protagonist, Elika.

The duo explore an unidentified Persian city-state, cleansing the land of Corruption as they attempt to stop the god Ahriman from escaping his imprisonment. Beautiful graphics and easy to pick-up-and-play controls make this an excellent entry, and one that newcomers will enjoy just as much as veterans.
