Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is an on-rails shooter which focuses on retelling the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica – much like Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles did with Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

It's actually quite a deceptive game, in that whilst the controls are simple to pick up any difficulty level above "Easy" should prove more than a challenge for even the most experienced of gamers.
