Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution may be a more streamlined and simplified version than past installments in the Civilization series, but this isn't a negative thing at all – in fact, I'm sure more people will pick up and play this because it's easier to play (three hours per game is much better to fit in than ten!).
If there is one fault to be found with this, it's that the multiplayer mode is rather on the slow side. However, the option to turn on a turn timer to attempt to make the game go faster should help with this small problem.
