Sony initially came in for some flack about the PlayStation 3, but at least they bothered to build in a wireless adapter to make connecting to the Internet a piece of cake. Microsoft decided it would be better to make people fork out extra for a funny little dongle that does the same thing.

There are other ways to get connected to XBox Live without using the XBox 360 Wireless Network Adapter, but they seem a bit more complex – although they do possibly work out a bit cheaper.
