Homefront is released in the UK on March 18 2011 on both the XBox 360 and PS3 platforms. Set in 2027, Homefront is a first-person shooter that is set in the fictional America of the future that has been taken over and occupied following a decade and a half of economic disaster and turbulence. The makers of Homefront, THQ, recognised as one of the best in the business, have created frighteningly realistic scenarios, where you as the single player get the chance to fight the resistance as you battle your way through the terrain of the once prosperous USA. The multiplayer mode in Homefront provides online support for up to 32 players in one of the most advanced war games ever made.
Already Homefront on the PS3 and XBox 360 has broken Pre Order sales records in North America, and is sure to be a major hit in the UK as well when it releases on March 18th. The RRP is set rather high at £49.99 although this is sadly becoming the normal for chart topping games these days. However, with a bit of hunting around you may find some Pre Order deals to get this price reduced.
