Playing as Gabriel Belmont, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sees you travelling a destroyed Earth, defeating evil tyrants in order to bring balance back to the world – facing the three factions of the Lords of Shadow and ending their unholy rule.
With so many excellent games already out, or due for release soon, in 2010, it would be very easy to have missed this. Please don't though, as it is without doubt one of the best action-adventure titles of the year – and easily the best Castlevania game in some time too.
