Lost Planet 2 was released on the 2 major formats PS3 and Xbox 360 last May 2010, and despite high expectations, many reviews were far from complimentary. It is similar to the original Lost Planet: Extreme Condition in that it's based on the same planet, only 10 years later, and due to the impressive features at the time the developer Capcom had given assurances of impressive enhancements. Unfortunately it seems this didn't materialise, however, since then a number of major patches have been released which have corrected and improved upon the disappointing features of the Lost Planet 2 launch.
This is good news for the general public today, as naturally the price has come down in time, but remember the version you can buy now includes the fixes made, so should give plenty of excitemnet and offer great value.
