Along with the Bright yellow DSi XL and the Blue version, the Green DSI XL was released to the UK market in October 2010 in time for the christmas rush. The sales figures for 2010 showed that it was the least popular of the colours available to buy, with the Wine Red console being the most popular.
The manufacturers have released little stock this year although it has not officially discontinued it, so with a bit of hunting around there may still be retailers with green dsi xl stock.

The original colours of the DSI XL were considered quite conservative, so it came as no big surprise when the next batch of colours for the DSI XL stood out from the crowd and included a green DSi XL. Although thie sales weren't as high for the green DSi XL as other colours, it still sold many units over the christmas period and so is still likely to be in demand this year, as many customers prefer the larger screens of the DSI XL to the 3D effect of the newer Nintendo 3DS.
